Livesaving Club

We provide our members with a comprehensive and integrated path to become a fully qualified lifeguard.

From livesaving sport competitions and first aid, to watercraft and open water swimming, the Pacific Lifesaving Club is about all things lifesaving. We provide our members with a comprehensive and integrated path to become a fully qualified lifeguard and/or instructor.

We work in conjunction with the city of Vancouver and the Royal Life Saving Society to ensure our swimmers are fully qualified as soon as possible.

Following up on the success we've had over the summer, we're planning to continue developing Lifesaving Sport skill, training and competitions. By doing so we will provide swimmers with all the skills and training they will need to become the most qualified life guards by the age of 15!

Lifesaving Sport

Lifesaving Sport Practice times

Our lifesaving sport athletes mix lifesaving sport practices (on Saturdays) with at least one swim practice during the week. We believe the foundation of every good lifeguard is strong swim skills.

See the full Pacific Swim Academy schedule.

Lifesaving Sport Competitions

Our lifesaving sport program is designed to develop elite athletes competing at a high level. We will equip you with the knowledge, skills and practice you need in order to be successful.

Lifesaving Sport has a history of running virtual competitions against other clubs across the country in the form of "Telegames". Our participants this fall will be working toward our first competition in December.
